Our Purpose
The people of Crestview United Methodist Church welcome you and invite you in a journey of faith as we seek to know God, love one another, and serve our community and the world in Christian love.
We are a church for the neighborhood, a place all people can come to seek God, worship God, and discover how we can be in ministry and service. As we learn of God’s love and grace, find our place and purpose, we fulfill our calling to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Discipleship is a process, not a statement. Therefore we take the journey together to learn, grow, and transform. We exist to create a place that embodies the love Jesus taught, and know that that love must also go beyond our walls and out into the neighborhood, the city of Topeka, and the world.

When You Arrive
- Parking is available in the north parking lot and eastside street parking.
- Our main entrance is on the east side of the church.
- Upon entrance, you will be greeted and provided a bulletin.
- Restrooms are to the right of the lobby.
- The sanctuary is to the left of the lobby.
- You are encouraged to dress comfortably. (Some wear “church clothes.” Others wear shorts and sandals, even in winter.)
- Hearing assistance is available and screens aid in following the service.
- Music is traditional with more contemporary songs thrown in.
- An offering is accepted each Sunday with offering containers located at the back of the sanctuary. (We don’t pass offering plates.)
- Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month and is open to everyone.
- Following worship, you are welcome to join the community for coffee and conversation.
